We provide complete biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate the need for substance use/abuse and/or mental health treatment. Available services include individual and group counseling, psychiatric medication management, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient services (IOP), and case management.

Child & Adolescent Counseling Services (CACS), partially supported by United Way, helps children, youth, and their families work toward regaining emotional health. Individual counseling consists of a brief intervention approach which includes a comprehensive assessment and four sessions that include psychoeducation on substances. These sessions focus on the individual as well as family and community for support.

Alternative Interventions for Women

Alternative Interventions for Women (AIW) is an award-winning and nationally recognized treatment program for women involved in the criminal justice system. Our clients have a history of addiction, trauma, and mental health issues. AIW provides individual and group therapy as well as case management and psychiatric services to help women heal and cope more effectively with life issues. The program teaches the necessary skills for clients to become contributing members of society.

Alternative Interventions for Men

Alternative Interventions for Men (AIM) is for male offenders with substance abuse and mental health diagnoses. Program eligibility includes, but not limited to, recent or current history of substance abuse, current report of mental health symptoms including depression, anxiety, trauma, and bipolar disorder. This impactful program includes outpatient groups, mental health case management services (housing, psychiatric stability, vocational and support services), access to medication, ongoing individual therapy and more.

Treatment Groups

The following groups are offered to help individuals involved in the criminal justice system:
Thinking for a Change (T4C) is an integrated, cognitive behavioral change program for offenders that includes cognitive restructuring, social skills development, and development of problem-solving skills.
Behavior Modification / Anger Management provides education and support to individuals with substance use and mental health issues, using evidenced- based curriculum to build skills for recognizing cues and triggers for anger and developing skills to improve managing anger.
Solution Oriented Services (SOS) is appropriate for men that abuse drugs and/or alcohol and are struggling to stop using.
Enhanced Outpatient Program (EOP) is more intensive than SOS, offering a higher level of care to support individuals with moving toward recovery from drugs and/or alcohol.
Women’s Outpatient Program (WOP) is designed for women who are struggling with substance use disorders or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. This is a skill building group that utilizes both Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior therapies to build early recovery skills.
Substance Abuse Education Group (Addiction Level I) is for both men and women involved in the criminal justice system, providing psychoeducation on risks and consequences of substance use. It is usually for first time offenders who meet the criteria for Mild Substance Use Disorders.
Alternative Education Group (AEG GROUP) is for both men and women who have been approved for medical marijuana use for physical and/or mental health needs. This group focuses on providing psychoeducation about the use of medical marijuana. Licensed therapist available for group members to work with individually to address underlying conditions that are being managed by medical marijuana. Client is required to verify medical marijuana card at the time of assessment to be eligible for this group. Individual is also required to provide verification of receipts from dispensary and documentation of underlying condition from physician.

Court Clinic Recovery Services (CCRS) provides treatment services to adults who are involved in the criminal justice system in Hamilton County. Services include individual and group therapy, drug screening, case management, education, and referrals to community treatment providers.

Family Access to Integrated Recovery (FAIR) is a program developed from a collaborative effort between the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, the Children’s Services Division of Hamilton County Job and Family Services (HCJFS), and Central Clinic Behavioral Health. FAIR is responsible for assessment, referral for services, and care management of the behavioral health needs of children and family members who are involved with Children’s Services. FAIR provides an entry to mental health and/or alcohol and drug services, and also monitors the service to ensure the child welfare goals of safety, permanence, and well-being are incorporated into treatment. FAIR also provides transitional services including psychiatric medication management, case management, and therapy.
